Seats

Overdesk is priced per seat, and seats are the only thing it meters. Drafts and conversations are unlimited on every plan, so a busy week never costs you more than a quiet one.

Who counts as a seat

Every person in your workspace is one seat, whatever their role: the owner, admins, agents and viewers all count. Someone you have invited becomes a seat when they accept the invitation, not before.

Every plan bills a minimum of 3 seats. A smaller workspace is still billed for 3, and a larger one is billed for everyone in it.

When the count changes

Your subscription's seat count follows your team:

• When someone accepts an invitation, a seat is added.
• When an admin removes someone from the team, a seat is removed, down to the 3-seat minimum.

Stripe prorates each change, so a seat added or removed partway through a billing period is adjusted for the part of the period that is left.

During the trial there is no subscription yet, so nothing is charged for seats. When the owner checks out, the first invoice covers the people in the workspace at that moment, with the same 3-seat minimum.
