Data retention
Overdesk deletes some of what it produces once it reaches a fixed age, and keeps other data for as long as your workspace exists. This page says which is which, so you can answer a customer or an auditor who asks how long a record lives. The Privacy Policy holds the authoritative schedule.
What ages out
A sweep runs every day and permanently deletes records past their age.

What stays for the life of your workspace
- Your knowledge base: indexed past conversations, documentation, saved replies and the other sources you connect. It is what drafts are grounded in, so it is not aged out. Erasing a customer removes their conversations, and deleting the workspace removes all of it.
- The comparisons made by Score drafts against replies, which pair each draft with the reply your agent sent. Erasing a customer removes theirs.
- Usage records, which feed the Usage page.
- Bookkeeping records that hold no conversation text, such as which conversations have already had a follow-up nudge and which issues your team opened from a conversation. They are kept so neither happens twice.
What outlives the workspace
Deleting the workspace removes everything listed above. What remains is the legal and audit record, including: that the workspace was deleted, and by whom; each person's acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; and each erasure request made from the workspace, with the address erased, who asked, and when. Outside Overdesk
These schedules cover what Overdesk itself stores. Your help desk keeps its conversations, and the notes and drafts Overdesk placed on them, under its own rules. Requests made with your Anthropic API key are governed by your agreement with Anthropic.
